Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #1

Weekly Challenge #1 for the Cricut Circle required us to:

1. Use French Manor
2. Use Jewels or Pearls (Do homemade skittles count?!)

I have been eyeballing this beautiful peacock since the moment I flipped through the handbook. The paper I used is Bo Bunny in Peacock Lane...PERFECT for this challenge and cut!!

The peacock was pop dotted twice and the tag/Merci is pop dotted once. When I pop dot 3 times, I glue one layer straight to the paper and do 2 layers of pop dots. I'm not brave enough yet to have 3 layers of pop dots!

I created my own skittles on the tag and used Adirondack Alcohol Inks in Pearl and Stream.

The cuts are: (WxL)

Peacock and layers: 3.41x5 Cut the main piece 3 times
Background accent (gray patterned paper): 6.47x3.94
Merci: 3.06x1.oo. Cut 3 times. Glue on top of each other (no pop dots!) for a little dimension.
Tag (behind Merci): 4.06x1.38

I used Stickles in Broken China to add extra glamor to my beautiful peacock! Then, I bent up the dried stickles/pointed part of the peacock.

I kept the inside simple, because the paper is so elaborate. I added in one feather (3.8x2.41), because I felt it completed the inside!

As always, if I have a Gypsy file, you can have it! and I DO have this one!
